When the wave of large language models broke in 2023, the enterprise and defense world lit up with possibility — and then quickly ran into a wall. The AI tools being built were designed for consumer experiences and developer prototyping. They had no concept of classification levels, no tamper-evident audit trails, no human approval gates, no air-gap capability.
The organizations that most needed AI — defense agencies managing classified workflows, manufacturers running 24/7 production lines, contractors navigating complex federal procurement — couldn't use any of it safely.
So we built the infrastructure they needed. Trunnion AI is the orchestration layer that makes agentic AI deployable in environments where compliance isn't optional, downtime isn't acceptable, and every action needs to be accountable.
